About the Temple

Situated near the Fateh Prakash Palace within Chittorgarh Fort, this remarkable complex of twenty-seven temples is dedicated to the Jain Tirthankaras. The main sanctum houses a majestic idol of Lord Adinath — the first Tirthankara — seated in serene meditation.

Step inside and be embraced by a calm, cool atmosphere where sunlight filters through intricately carved windows, creating a gentle shimmer on the polished floors. The corridors are lined with pillars adorned with depictions of Jain deities, celestial beings, and narratives from Jain scriptures.

Jain Principles
🕊️
Ahimsa — Non-Violence
The cornerstone of Jainism. Reverence for all living beings, reflected in the temple's vegetarian-only environment and peaceful atmosphere.
Saatya — Truth
Commitment to honesty and integrity in thought, word, and deed — a guiding principle for all devotees who visit this sacred site.
🌿
Vairagya — Detachment
The path of spiritual liberation through renunciation of worldly desires, symbolised by the meditative posture of Lord Adinath in the sanctum.
Architecture & Heritage

The temple showcases an exquisite blend of Jain and Maru-Gurjara architectural styles, reminiscent of the celebrated temples at Ranakpur and Dilwara, Mount Abu.
